After reaching out to CLC for enrollment information, when can I expect to talk to someone?

When you reach out for enrollment information over the phone or in person, you will be asked to complete an EHS-HS-Inquiry-Form, and given a list of documents required to determine eligibility for Head Start/Early Head Start. Head Start/Early Head Start eligibility is determined based on the child’s age and family’s income. A Family Service Worker will complete an eligibility interview with you to determine whether you are eligible for the program. You will be contacted to schedule an intake appointment if your family is eligible for the program.

What information will you need from me to get the enrollment process started?

You will be provided with list of necessary documents to complete your application for Head Start/Early Head Start enrollment following the completion of an inquiry form.

How will you determine which program at CLC is the best fit for my child?

Head Start/Early Head Start eligibility is based on age and income requirements.  Applicants must meet the federal poverty guidelines to be eligible for the program. It is important to note that the Head Start program serves children 3 to 5 years old and the Early Head Start program serves infants and toddlers 6 weeks to 3 years old.
