“Through color, I have sought to concentrate on beauty and happiness, rather than on man’s inhumanity to man,” Alma Thomas.
Students at CLC Palmers Hill continued their celebration of Black History Month learning about and creating art inspired by Alma Thomas.

Children at CLC Early Head Start are celebrating Black History Month.

Children recreated his 1923 invention by each making their own traffic light out of tissue paper.
Students at CLC Early Head Start created their own bells out of plastic cups and decorated them with colored paper to go on a mural in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with the message, “Let Freedom Ring!”
