Nathan Tuchman is a nonprofit development executive with deep experience building and leading fundraising programs that support organizational growth, sustainability, and community impact. As Chief Development Officer at Children’s Learning Center of Fairfield County, he oversees philanthropic strategy across individual, corporate, and institutional giving, strengthening the organization’s capacity to serve children and families.
Nathan’s career has focused on designing and scaling development efforts for mission-driven organizations. Most recently, he served as Assistant Vice President of Individual and Corporate Giving at The New York Foundling, where he expanded the fundraising program, doubling individual and corporate revenue and launching its first formal major gifts initiative. He has cultivated relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporate partners, and institutional stakeholders, guiding investments that advance programmatic growth.
Earlier, Nathan held development leadership roles at JDRF, consistently exceeding fundraising goals through major gifts and large-scale events supporting research and advocacy. He has also advised emerging organizations as an independent consultant, helping teams strengthen fundraising infrastructure and plan for sustainable growth. Nathan holds a graduate certificate in Public Administration from the University of Virginia and a bachelor’s degree in History and Philosophy from Binghamton University.
