Marnie Sadlowsky currently serves as Associate Head of School for Strategic Programs and Head of Upper School at King School in Stamford, Connecticut.

Marnie began her career in education as a history and English teacher before moving into administration roles in program development and student life. As Head of Upper School, she has focused on developing high-performing teams that support students and their families; helping develop rich diploma “distinction” programs for high school students in the areas of STEM, Global Studies, Visual and Performing Arts, World Languages, and Leadership Theory and Practice; and creating a mission-centered culture of ongoing learning and growth for all community members.

In her role as Associate Head of School for Strategic Programs, Marnie keeps an eye on King’s cross-divisional programs in science and humanities research, global education, and community partnerships/leadership. She also serves on King’s Strategic Steering Committee, co-chairs the Professional Growth and Development Committee, and presents regularly for parent groups on topics ranging from healthy adolescent development to current trends and research in the field of education. Marnie earned a B.A. in English Literature from St. Olaf College and an M.A.R. from Yale University’s Divinity School. She loves music, hiking, skiing, and reading— and most of all, being with her husband, Mark Lingle, and their three dogs, George, Chester, and Sophie.
