Carmen Hughes is the Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) for the City of Stamford, an adjunct DEI Instructor for Cornell University in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations, and is the founder of Edelweise Consulting, a career coaching, talent development, and diversity consulting firm. She brings with her more than 20 years of corporate experience at JPMorgan Chase, having worked in both Fixed Income Sales and Human Resources.
Hughes has served in various leadership roles in the nonprofit world from Stamford to New York City. Hughes currently serves on three Boards: Stamford Police Activities League, United Way of Coastal and Western Connecticut, and Sacred Heart Greenwich. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Howard University, is a Cornell Certified Diversity Professional, and is an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation.
