CLC Named a 2020 Bank of America Neighborhood Builder
CLC was selected for our work in the Southern Connecticut community to address issues fundamental to economic mobility, by ensuring that children have access to early education programs.
Bank of America has always been willing to support with nonprofits to ensure better futures for our youngest generation. I’ve known Marc Jaffe for a number of years and can attest to his passion and drive to support Stamford families – it is a big part of what makes CLC such a phenomenal organization and worthy of this $200,000 grant. Parents and children from across Stamford — and from many different backgrounds — rely on CLC, so on behalf of all of them I thank Marc for his many years of service and commitment to CLC.
CLC Named Best Friend to Children by Moffly Media from Light a Fire 2020
The award recognizes our Project 26 work. During 8 weeks early in the COVID-19 pandemic, CLC provided reliable and safe childcare to children of healthcare workers.
With this award we celebrate the efforts of each and every one of our staff members who continue to work to support our community’s children and families.
