Stamford, CT – Children’s Learning Centers of Fairfield County (CLC) has retained Phillips Oppenheim to lead the search for its next Chief Executive Officer. Phillips Oppenheim specializes in executive searches for mission driven organizations.

“A top priority for the search committee is finding a CEO that reflects the community that CLC serves.  That means we must be intentional in how we source candidates, to ensure a diverse candidate pool,” shared Jaclyn Williams, a CLC Board Member and Chair of its Search Committee.  “We are extremely excited to be working with Phillips Oppenheim, not only because of the commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, but their impressive and successful track record.” she continued.

Phillips Oppenheim was founded in 1991 to serve nonprofit organizations and has developed deep expertise in executive searches for mission driven organizations. Phillips Oppenheim recently led the search for Fairfield County’s Community Foundation President & CEO. Their clients also include national youth serving organizations and educational institutions.

CLC provides early childhood education and care with direct services and programs focused on health, nutrition, and family support for children 6 weeks – 5 years of age. The nonprofit agency is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and approved by Head Start. CLC operates private pay and government subsidized programs to help ensure that all families have access to high quality early childhood education and care programs regardless of income.

The organization is licensed to serve nearly 900 children each day across multiple locations in Stamford. CLC also oversees a Head Start program operated by Family Centers in Greenwich.
