Amee began her career as an educator in 1997. Amee has taught children at every level from preschool to fifth grade. She has her M.S.Ed. in Elementary Education from Fordham University and her Sixth Year Degree in Educational Leadership from Southern Connecticut State University. Amee enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Steve, her children, Emma and Peter and their dog, Queenie.

Prior to joining CLC in 2023, Amee was the Director of Early Childhood Education at Earthplace Preschool. In the field of early childhood education, Amee has worked at every level including assistant teacher, head teacher, assistant director and director. She is an active member of CTAEYC and also serves on the state advocacy team for NAEYC.

With more than 25 years of experience in education, Amee’s contributions include annual speaking engagements at the Keefe-Bruyette Symposium at St. Joseph University’s School for Young Children and the CTAEYC Best Practices Conference to share her expertise in early childhood and nature-based preschool education.
